I am the type of girl who is very "wardrobe wise"; I know everything that is hanging in my closet...and what should be. My favorite part of being "wardrobe wise" is knowing what is hanging on the rack in a store just waiting to be a part of my clothes family. Being a wardrobe detective requires quite a bit of organization. My phone is the perfect place to conduct my detective work. I make lists of the types of clothes I want and what stores I can find them in. I also like to take screenshots of clothes I find online and keep them in an album. It's the little things that make being a wardrobe detective fun.
As a wardrobe detective, I like to be a personal style sleuth. My taste in clothes is constantly changing, and I like to keep track of it. Just by looking through my closet, I can see how my style has evolved over time. It currently doesn't look very cohesive, and little by little I am working to change that. I want to eventually have a closet full of clothes that suits my style perfectly.
Speaking of my style, I find that it is something I have always had a hard time defining and describing. I love simple silhouettes, monochrome, skater skirts, and girly details such as peter pan collars and bling. I take inspiration from celebrities such as Audrey Hepburn, Lily Collins, and YouTubers, Zoe Sugg (Zoella), and Tanya Burr. Despite all the factors that play into my sense of fashion, I am still trying to figure it out. A wardrobe detective is always learning.
My challenge for you is to be your own wardrobe detective. Be "wardrobe wise", a personal style sleuth, and discover what inspires you. The world of fashion is one big mystery and we are all on the case.
